Position: Warehouse Operations Supervisor
Job Summary
Vertex Cargo International is seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Operations Coordinator to oversee daily warehouse activities, inventory management, and cargo handling operations. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient warehouse workflows, maintain accurate inventory records, and support the safe storage and timely movement of goods while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflows.
- Monitor inventory levels, maintain stock accuracy, and oversee inventory control procedures.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments while ensuring timely receiving and dispatch of cargo.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and movement of goods in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment by following health and safety regulations.
- Lead, guide, and support warehouse personnel to achieve daily operational targets.
- Prepare warehouse performance reports and maintain accurate operational documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse productivity and optimize operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with logistics, transportation, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless cargo movement.
- Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and dispatched within scheduled timelines.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, or distribution is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, team management, and supervisory skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Good understanding of inventory control systems and warehouse management processes.
- Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse management software is an advantage.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
